Got Words?

Open the door of your treasure today,
for tomorrow the key will not be in your hands.

With the arrival of the New Year, Christine Valters Paintner of Abbey of the Arts wrote an engaging post, "Give Me a Word", about a tradition of asking for a word or phrase that contains "a seed of invitation to cross a new threshold" — a word that will prompt us to challenge, inspire, refresh, and re-nourish our self physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, and thus lead us to new awareness and discoveries in the coming days and months.

Christine extended an invitation to all of her readers to share their word. More than 130 responses have been posted to date. Read them here.

Today, after putting all the words together, Christine posted the Wordle or word cloud shown below.

Take a look:

My own word, by the way, is "reach".

What's yours?

I love Wordle! I've used it with my students, and they have so much fun with it.

My word would be "empty", I think. Not the adjective, but as in "emptying out". I love the wordle!
