70 Million by Hold Your Horses!

Who ever said art history isn't fun? Test your knowledge via this very entertaining music video for "70 Million", a hit song by the Franco-American band Hold Your Horses! The video was viewed more than 300,000 times in its first two weeks following release and even attracted the attention of Artnews, which gave it a two-page spread. If anyone has a problem identifying the 25 paintings represented, let me know and I'll provide a list in a follow-up post. Hint: The periods represented range from ca. 1280 to 1964.

Maureen- The "Hold Your Horses" video is incredible! What a great, creative approach to a music video. All I though of was how much work that must have taken to creat all those reproductions!
