Wednesday Wonder: Sydney Light Show

Germany's Urbanscreen design collective created this installation light project for the Sydney Opera House in Australia. Part of the "Vivid Sydney" light and music festival in New South Wales, the production makes it appear that the opera house's "sails" have collapsed.

The festival ended June 11.

Oh, my, how lovely.

I'm so sorry that I did not get to meet up with you in DC, Maureen. I had no idea you lived so close. We surely could have arranged a quick meet up. I couldn't help thinking of you when I went to the National Gallery. That was maybe my favorite. Of course, the boys were at the Air and Space museum, so I had to choose. I really wish we'd had more time. I'll be sure to let you know the next time we come to town!

That is remarkable and almost scary in terms of how realistic it looks.
