The arts and technology collective seeper, founded in 1998 by Evan Grant and based in East London, was commissioned to help the Titanic Belfast Visitor Centre celebrate this year's opening and to mark the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic. The result was this projection mapping onto a half-dozen facades. As explained on seeper's Website, the project involved bespoke sound design, synchronized pyrotechnics, and 3D motion graphics. I think you'll agree it's a stunning light and sound show deserving of its description as a Wednesday Wonder.
Evan Grant explains the challenge in creating the projection in this BBC video interview.
