Saturday Short

I get to have history in my hands.
~ Brianna Perez

Today's short is the moving documentary Joe's Violin (2016), directed and produced by Kahane Cooperman. Nominated for a 2017 Oscar (Documentary Short Subject), the film relates the stories of a 91-year-old survivor of the Holocaust, Joseph Feingold, who donates his violin to an instrument drive, and of Brianna Perez, a 7th-grade school girl in the Bronx whose life is forever changed by Joe's gift.
