What a great post and wonderful links. ...Maureen! W
What a great post and wonderful links. I had no idea —obviously didn't read An American Childhood, I'll add the title to my list or rather pile of next reads. I'm not surprised she's switched from writing to painting. Doing both is possible, but only when you have enough time. She must have had an intense wish to express herself in this fluid tangible medium.

For me writing takes first place at the moment since I wish to finish a book "Painting for Life" (work title), and there's so much to do to make that happen.

Do you, does any of the other visitors here know if she's talked about this switch over?Judith van Praaghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12113677919729425142noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2639339699258439249.post-55834351198004827952010-03-11T09:55:57.805-05:002010-03-11T09:55:57.805-05:00interesting that she made her name known through t...interesting that she made her name known through the written word, that now draws people to see her other art.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2639339699258439249.post-50965167443263736872010-03-11T09:18:07.041-05:002010-03-11T09:18:07.041-05:00I didn't know she'd given up writing eithe...I didn't know she'd given up writing either!
