Thought for the Day

The best writing surely has love in some form in it
and surely loving relationships play a part in bringing
that into one's writing. I don't think it's either/or, and both
can be hard at times. But given the choice anybody's going
to want to choose loving over writing, no contest, right?

Yes, I think good writing is an act of love -- almost always. It is a labor and a sweat and a pouring over of oneself.

What an interesting thought ...

I enjoyed the Mary Oliver link yesterday and the "Save the Words" site.

yes, no contest, love over writing, until writing becomes the love of one's life:)

I believe that love is much harder than writing. And yet, if there is no good writing without love, then if one had to make a choice, surely then if one chose the writing instead of loving, then they would only end up with bad writing.
