I'm especially pleased to showcase for this month's Artist Watch at Escape Into Life the outstanding ink drawings of Alexander Landerman of Stevens Point, Wisconsin.

A freelance artist and arts educator, Alexander has exhibited extensively throughout Wisconsin and has received many awards for his exceptional work. Through his drawings, he says, he hopes to engender a sense of individual and collective social responsibility for animals, insects, and plants and reestablish a connection between the natural world and our consumption of its gifts as food sources.
