Joy Williams Animated

Here's another of the wonderful Single Sentence Animations from Electric Literature in which Alice Cohen animates and scores a sentence from Joy Williams's story "Baba Iaga and the Pelican Child", a re-telling of a Russian fairy tale in which John James Audubon makes an appearance:

Text of Williams's fable is included in issue 4 of Electric Literature; purchasing information is here. The story is included in the anthology My Mother She Killed Me, My Father He Ate Me (Penguin Books, 2010), edited by Kate Bernheimer. (See reviews of the anthology here and here.)
