Today's short is the much-honored The Ballad of Holland Island House. The lovely short features the animation of Lynn Tomlinson, who hand-painted each frame using a clay-on-glass technique. The film tells the story of Holland Island House, a Victorian structure on the Chesapeake Bay that gave itself up to the ocean in 2010. Music is by Anna & Elizabeth, whose newest album was released in March of this year.
