Thought for the Day

Inner silence is that feeling of reverence for life.
It is a feeling we can carry with us no matter where we go. . . .

Outer silence is different. It is what we experience when we
are in a naturally quiet place. . . Outer silence invites us to open
up our senses and get connected, once again, to everything
around us. No matter in what direction you look it is all the same
connection. Outer silence can recharge . . . inner silence. . .
[fill you] with gratitude and patience. . . .

I hadn't thought of these as different, but, yes, I see what's being said. Maybe I've felt them together in the "[o]uter silence can recharge...inner silence..." sense so I've connected them inside.

Thank you. I'll be thinking about this. And will have a chance to do so in a place of outer silence coming up soon!

And the subtlety of the distinction is what makes this so profound. Great quote . . .
