Below is the official trailer for the documentary He Named Me Malala (Fox Searchlight), about  Pakistani activist Malala Yousafzai. A Nobel Peace Prize Laureate (2014) and founder of the Malala Fund, Malala is a world-famous champion for girls' education and a relentless advocate for the cause, especially in Pakistan, despite a 2012 attack on her life by the Taliban. The film, by director-producer Davis Guggenheim, looks at Malala's daily life, her relationship with her father Ziauddin, and her courageous, empowering speeches.

The documentary is scheduled to screen in theaters in October.
