Kelly, Roethke can be a very rewarding poet to read. I don't know that he's taught so much these days but when I first found his poetry decades ago I was hooked.

I like this poet very much! I've not seen this particular piece before. I have a friend, who lost her mother a short while ago. I'll share this with her :)
