Thought for the Day

The difference between the artist and the non-artist
is not a greater capacity for feeling. The secret is that the artist
can objectify, can make apparent the feelings we all have.

so true.

Hope you have a beautiful, restful Sunday making apparent all that you feel.

I think that people all feel a lot. Perhaps too much for their own good. But, one must feel a feeling before they know the feeling. But, one must realize that they are not the only ones to have these feelings. Though, most people share similar feelings, there are a few exceptions. Also, there is no such thing as a non-artist.

i must complain...comment moderation is a pain in the patootie.

I see my artist son in this quote.

I agree with this and so happy you found and shared it. But I think it's more than make feelings apparent, I think the artist pulls it from the nebulous to the more concrete so it can be shared. We give name to that which was (more or less) unnamable.
