Saturday Short

Today's short is Crow, a brilliantly conceived and gorgeous "one off" produced and directed by Yoav Segal, inspired by Ted Hughes's remarkable work. The voice is Hughes's. (Segal received special permission to use the Hughes recording. Crow: Unabridged was a Penguin/Faber audiobook.)

Hughes published Crow (Faber and Faber) in 1970. It has been republished a number of times and also is found in the Collected Poems of Ted Hughes (Farrar, Straus & Giroux, 2003).

My thanks to Rabbit Heart Poetry Film Festival (FaceBook) for the link.
