Thought for the Day

You must have a room, or a certain hour or so a day, where
you don't know what was in the newspapers that morning...
a place where you can simply experience and bring forth
what you are and what you might be.

Take a look at this Tree of Contemplative Practices (click on image to enlarge) and then go here to learn how to begin finding what's within. May you enjoy deep peace of mind and spirit throughout the New Year!

The Center for Contemplative Mind in Society also offers a free download of a blank tree that you may customize to include your own practice(s).

That looks like a great tree to "grow" in the new year.

i have been thinking. yep, thinking again...

i think it would be really nice if you would put a label list or label balloon near the top of your right column.

it would be so good to be able to scan all that you write about...and interesting to see.

what do you think?

Happy New Year, Maureen! You always get to the heart of the matter.

Are we like-minded and like-hearted today, or what? I love the Campbell quote. The holidays are hard because it is nearly impossible to find that hour or so, or room, for soul time.

I very much look forward to this year with you, Maureen! Thank you for carrying over with us from the Rilke blog to sparks and mirrors. I am already excited for more synchronicity with you.
